Every business that runs customer conversations on a platform eventually asks the same questions. What plan are we on, what period are we in, what do we owe, and where is the invoice. In HellouOne, those answers live in one place: Settings, Billing. Only administrators can see it, and it shows the plan of your account and, if you have telephony services or a paid plan, your balance, your invoices and your payments. This post explains each part of that page and how to use it well. It is based on our help guide: Billing, your plan, your balance and your invoices (https://help.hellou.ai/hc/hellou/articles/1791216504-facturacion-tu-plan-tu-saldo-y-tus-facturas).
Your current plan, without guessing
The Current plan section shows the name of your plan and the current billing period. That sounds basic, and it is, but it removes a common source of confusion in teams. When a feature seems missing, the first check is often the plan, not the configuration. When finance asks when the period closes, the answer is on the same page.
During the free trial, this section shows how many days are left. When the trial ends, the account becomes read only until a plan is chosen. That detail matters for planning. If your team depends on HellouOne every day, choose the plan before the trial runs out, so nobody meets a read only account on a busy morning. The trial countdown is visible to admins, so one person can own that date and remind the rest in time.
Usage and balance, only the panels that apply to you
The Usage section appears for accounts with an active billing client. It covers the pending balance that will be due at the close of the period, the credit limit and the available funds, and it lets you pay the balance with the saved card. Each panel appears only if it applies to your account. A chat only account, for example, has no call balance to show, so that panel simply does not appear.
That design keeps the page honest. You see the numbers that belong to your kind of account, and you do not have to translate a generic dashboard into your reality. For an admin, the routine is simple. Check the pending balance during the period, not only at the close. Watch the available funds if your operation uses balance based services. And keep the saved payment method current, because paying the balance uses that card.
Invoices and payments, with a clear status for each one
The Invoices and payments section lists the invoices for the period you choose and your recent payments, each with its amount, method and status. If a payment shows as failed, it was not charged. The guide is direct about the next step: check the card under the payment method and retry through the pay balance option.
That clarity saves a difficult kind of support ticket, the one where nobody knows if money moved. A failed status means no charge happened. A completed payment shows its method, so finance can match it against the card statement. Choosing the period lets you pull the invoices for a month or a quarter without asking anyone to export something for you. For a business that closes its books monthly, that self service list is the difference between a two minute check and a chain of messages.
Changing your plan, and what happens when you do
Change plan expands a catalog of plans. For each one you can see the agents included, the AI messages, the channels and the price. When you choose one, HellouOne charges the saved card, activates the plan and shows the status of the change while the account stays usable. Your team keeps working while the change completes.
Two facts from the guide are worth knowing before you compare. Plans without AI and without voice cost less, and they turn those functions off. So a lower price is a real decision about capability, not just a discount. And the Enterprise plan is contracted directly with the Hellou team, not from the catalog. If your needs reach that level, the conversation is part of the process.
If a purchase cannot be completed, the page flags it and the Hellou team resolves it, with no double charge. That promise matters, because the fear of a double charge is what makes many admins hesitate at the buy button. Here the incomplete state is visible on the page itself, and the resolution path is the team, not a second attempt with the same card.
Getting help with billing
If something on the page does not match what you expected, the guide points to one route: the Hellou support chat inside the panel, where you are already identified with your account. That means support sees the account context from the start. Describe the period, the invoice or the payment status you are looking at, and the conversation begins from the same numbers you see.
Used well, Settings, Billing becomes a small monthly habit. An admin checks the current plan and period, reviews usage and the pending balance, downloads or reviews the invoices for the period, and confirms the payment method is current. Five minutes there prevents the three problems businesses hate most in software billing: a surprise charge nobody can explain, a trial that ends into a read only account, and an invoice hunt at closing time.
