The first hour with a new tool decides a lot. If an admin can find their way around, connect their channels and see the product work, they keep going. If they get stuck on a screen they do not understand, they close the tab. HellouOne's guided tours exist to make that first hour easy, and with this release they do it in the admin's own language.
Fully localized tours
Guided tours have had translated steps for a while, but the guide titles and descriptions, the part you read when deciding which tour to take, were still in English. Now every part of every guide, from the title in the list to the description to each step, is available in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. An admin in Bogotá or São Paulo sees a tour list that reads naturally, not a mix of languages.
Localization here is not only translation. Step titles are written the way a Spanish or Portuguese speaking admin would describe the task, and the descriptions explain what each tour covers in plain terms, so you can pick the right one without opening it first.
A bug that caused tooltips to show up in the wrong locale has also been fixed. If your dashboard is in Spanish, the tooltips are in Spanish too.
Small fixes that remove friction
Two more changes are easy to miss and make a real difference. First, tour popups have been re-layered so the Next button is never covered by another element. Nobody should have to guess where to click to continue a tutorial. Second, trial detection now comes from the account payload, so the welcome tutorial starts automatically and reliably for new trial accounts, instead of depending on a check that sometimes missed.
Reliability matters as much as language here. A tour that starts most of the time is a tour that some new admins never see, and those are usually the ones who needed it most. Having the trial state come from the account itself means the welcome tutorial shows up on the first visit, before the admin has had time to wander off into the settings on their own.
A new tour: Connect a service
Connecting your first service is the step that turns HellouOne from a demo into your own workspace, and it is where new admins most often need a hand. The new Connect a service guided tour walks through it step by step. It also carries LIA context, which means the LIA assistant knows where you are in the tour and can help you through connecting a service, answering questions along the way instead of sending you to the docs.
LIA, short and on point
LIA has picked up two habits that make guided tours feel more natural. When a guide starts, LIA replies in a single sentence rather than a paragraph, so the tour itself stays the focus. And when LIA refers to a step, it uses the real localized step title, the same text you see on screen, instead of a generic label. If you are following a tour in Spanish, LIA talks about the steps in Spanish, by the names you see.
Why this matters for teams in LatAm and Brazil
Many of the teams adopting HellouOne work in Spanish or Portuguese, and the person setting up the account is often not the person who evaluated the product in English. Fully localized onboarding means the admin who actually configures channels, bots and roles can do it without translating in their head. It shortens setup, reduces support requests about the basics, and gets the team to their first real customer conversation faster.
Try it
If you are new to HellouOne on a trial account, the welcome tour will start on its own. If you have been around for a while, open the guided tours from the dashboard, switch your language if you have not already, and take the Connect a service tour with LIA at your side. It takes a few minutes and ends with a connected service, which is the best possible place to start.
