LIA, the HellouOne admin assistant, now works in one unified workspace with streaming answers, stop and queue controls, per-turn effort levels and rolling usage limits you can actually read.

The new LIA workspace in HellouOne: streaming answers, queued messages and clearer usage limits

One workspace for the assistant that runs your account

LIA is the admin AI assistant inside HellouOne. It helps account administrators adjust agents, review settings and get work done without clicking through every screen. With HEL-675, LIA now lives in one unified workspace, and its usage and limits pages moved into Settings, where administrators already manage the rest of the account. It sounds like a small reorganization, but it changes how the assistant feels day to day: less hunting for the right page, and a conversation that behaves more like working with a colleague and less like waiting for a report.

Answers stream in as they are written

The most visible change is that answers, and the model's reasoning, stream in live as they are written, instead of appearing only after the whole turn finishes. Anyone who has stared at a blank panel while an assistant thinks knows why this matters. You can see the answer taking shape, spot early if it is heading in the wrong direction, and start reading the first lines while the rest is still being written. Long explanations, summaries and multi-step answers all feel faster, because the wait is no longer all or nothing.

Stop it, or line up your next thought

Two new controls fix the most common frustrations of working with an AI assistant. First, an admin can stop a running turn mid-answer. If LIA misunderstood the request or started down the wrong path, you no longer wait for it to finish before correcting course.

Second, you can type your next message while LIA is still answering. The message queues instead of being lost or blocked, and a "send now" option jumps it ahead when it cannot wait. Real work rarely arrives one clean question at a time. You think of the follow-up while the first answer is still coming, you paste the extra detail you forgot, or a more urgent request lands on your desk. The queue holds those thoughts in order, so the conversation keeps the thread instead of forcing you to start over.

Effort you choose, per turn

The composer now always offers three effort levels, low, medium and high, and honors your choice for that turn. A quick rename or a short factual question does not need the same depth as a careful review of an agent configuration. Choosing the effort per turn means quick tasks stay quick, and the deep tasks get the attention they deserve, without changing account settings every time. Slash commands in the composer are also simpler, so the shortcuts administrators use most are easier to find and remember.

Usage limits you can actually read

The old monthly token cap is retired. In its place, usage is shown as rolling allowances: a 5-hour window and a weekly window, each with details. Rolling windows are easier to plan around than a monthly bucket, because they recover continuously instead of resetting once a month, and they make a busy morning visible before it becomes a problem. Super admins see live limits, so the people responsible for the account can tell at a glance how much room is left and why a limit was reached. Model names are hidden from admins in the new workspace, which keeps the focus where it belongs: on the work and the usage, not on which model happens to be behind the curtain.

Small touches that add up

The chat column is wider, which makes long answers and pasted content easier to read. Thread navigation helps you move between conversations with LIA without losing your place. The "new messages" pill is now a single line, and the thinking block is quieter, so the interface stays out of the way while the assistant works. A workspace tour and a help article were added with the release, so a new administrator can learn the layout by walking through it instead of guessing.

Why it matters

An admin assistant is only useful if people actually enjoy using it. Streaming answers, a stop button, a message queue, per-turn effort and honest, readable limits all attack the same problem: the small frictions that make a powerful tool feel slow or opaque. If your team already relies on LIA to adjust your HellouOne account, the new workspace is ready for you in Settings. Open it, ask something real, and watch the answer arrive as it is written.
