Invite and earn: HellouOne's new referral program

HellouOne now rewards customers who bring new businesses on board, with referral codes, signup attribution, and monthly rewards credited to your PortaBilling balance.

The best new customers come from existing ones. HellouOne's new referral program turns your satisfaction into rewards: invite other businesses, and when they sign up, you earn.

Why referrals work

When a business owner asks a peer which tools they use, the answer carries more weight than any ad. A referral comes with context: you know the other business, you know what they struggle with, and you can explain in plain words how HellouOne helps you with the same problems. That makes referred customers more likely to get started quickly and stick around. The referral program recognizes the value of that recommendation and gives some of it back to you.

It also helps the business you refer. Instead of comparing tools on their own, they get a recommendation from someone who has already set up HellouOne and uses it every day. They can ask you practical questions, like how long it took to get running or which features your team relies on most, and get honest answers before they commit.

How the program works

It works simply. You get a personal referral code from the new Settings to Referrals page. Share it with a business that could use HellouOne. When they sign up with your code, the signup is attributed to you automatically.

Getting started takes a minute. Open Settings, go to Referrals, and copy your personal code. You can paste it into a WhatsApp message, an email, or a note to a business contact. Because attribution is automatic, you do not need to fill out forms, email support, or keep a spreadsheet of everyone you told about HellouOne. The code does the tracking. All you need to do is make sure the business you refer uses your code when they create their account.

Rewards are credited every month straight to your PortaBilling balance, so they directly reduce what you pay. There is nothing to redeem and no points to track: the credit just appears.

For businesses that already pay for HellouOne every month, this makes the reward easy to understand. You see it on the same balance you already use, and it goes straight toward your service instead of sitting in a separate account you have to remember. You can check the current program details on the Referrals page in Settings.

Who to invite

The best candidates are businesses that look a lot like yours. If you run a clinic, think of other clinics or practices in your network that still juggle appointments by phone. If you sell online, think of fellow store owners who answer the same customer questions over and over on WhatsApp. Suppliers, partners, and friends who run their own companies are all good places to start.

When you share your code, add a sentence about what HellouOne changed for you. Maybe your team answers faster, maybe you stopped losing messages, or maybe customers now book on their own. A specific, honest example is far more convincing than a generic pitch, and it helps the other business decide whether HellouOne is a good fit.

You can also share your code where business owners already talk to each other: a local chamber of commerce group, an industry association, or a community of entrepreneurs you belong to. Keep it helpful rather than salesy, and let people reach out when they are ready.

Start sharing

Think of it as a small habit. Whenever someone asks how you handle customer messages, share your code along with your answer.

It also pays to follow up. If a business you referred signs up, offer to share what worked for you in the first weeks, such as which conversations you automated first or how you organized your team. A smooth start is good for them, and it makes your recommendation look even better.

If HellouOne already helps your business communicate better, this is the easiest way to make it pay for itself. Grab your code and start sharing.
