HellouOne and Wati pricing compared
HellouOne charges in US dollars, by the month, with no lock-in. Starter costs USD 49 with 1 agent (USD 24 without AI), Team USD 190 with 3 agents and a one-time USD 100 setup, Growth USD 490 with 6 agents and Scale USD 690 with 10. The plans with AI include AI messages (2,000 on Starter, 5,000 on Team) and each additional 1,000 costs USD 30. WhatsApp fees are paid straight to Meta, with a 0% markup from HellouOne.
Wati publishes its prices in US dollars and shows them with annual billing (see the sources): Growth at USD 59 a month with 3 users included and no additional users, Pro at USD 119 with 5 users and USD 39 per additional user, and Business at USD 279 with 5 users and USD 89 per additional user. On Business, each extra WhatsApp number costs USD 29 a month. Its page has an annual and monthly toggle and says annual payment saves up to 20%; here we use the published annual prices.
Each Wati plan has a cap on AI agents and credits. Growth includes 1 Astra agent and 2,000 AI credits a month, Pro 2 agents and 5,000 credits, and Business unlimited agents and 20,000 credits. Broadcasts reach 15,000 on Growth and are unlimited on Pro and Business. Template messages carry additional charges, and Wati's terms say its fees exclude charges from third parties.
On cancellation, Wati's terms state that paid subscriptions are non-cancellable and non-refundable, unless the law requires otherwise or it is agreed in writing. If you use Wati today, check your renewal date before switching platforms.
Wati and HellouOne measure price differently: Wati's AI credits and HellouOne's AI messages are different units, so they do not compare one to one. Wati publishes its prices with annual billing; HellouOne bills monthly with no lock-in. Compare with your number of agents and your real message volume. To estimate your Meta fees, use the WhatsApp pricing calculator, and look at HellouOne's plans or try the inbox and the AI agent for 7 days with no card.
AI agents and voice: WhatsApp calls or phone lines
HellouOne's voice agents work on phone lines: they answer inbound calls and run outbound call campaigns with Colombian telephony included in the price, transfer to your team, and a summary and recording of every call. They speak Spanish from Colombia, Mexico, Spain and Latin America, and US English, with six premium Colombian-accent voices included from the 10K plan. Campaigns follow the Ley 2300 hours for collection by default and require a consent confirmation before launch. Plans run from USD 499 to USD 2,999 a month depending on minutes. See the AI voice agents guide.
On voice, both offer AI agents, but on different channels. Wati documents an Astra voice agent that handles WhatsApp calls, inbound and outbound, and its product page mentions 30+ languages and voice cloning and says the feature is in limited beta (see the sources).
On text, both have AI agents. In HellouOne the AI agent replies first using your knowledge base and uses handover areas to pass the chat to the right person or team with the full history; Starter includes 1 AI agent, Growth 2 and Scale 3. In Wati they are built with Astra, and the number of agents and credits depends on the plan. We explain it in the WhatsApp AI agent guide.
Choose by where your customers call you. If your customers call or answer by phone, and you want outbound campaigns in Colombia, that is the HellouOne side. If you want a voice agent inside WhatsApp calls, Wati documents that feature. In HellouOne, WhatsApp calling, from the Growth plan, is made by your team from the browser.
Team inbox, channels and integrations
HellouOne assigns each conversation with round robin, priority or only to whoever is online, groups people into teams and sets five visibility levels per person. Private notes and @mentions keep the team coordinated, and reports show metrics per agent, per team and CSAT (CSAT from Growth).
On channels, HellouOne includes WhatsApp and web chat on every plan, Telegram and Messenger from Growth, and Instagram and email from Scale; an additional channel costs USD 20 a month. HellouOne does not list TikTok among its channels.
On CRM, HellouOne syncs contacts and conversations both ways with HubSpot, Pipedrive, GoHighLevel and DataCRM, and deals move with the conversation in HubSpot and Pipedrive. It has 16 connectors, including Mercado Pago and Alegra. Developers get a public API and an MCP server, documented at one.hellou.ai/docs.
Wati's inbox lets you assign, follow up, tag and report. Its channels are WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Messenger, web chat and RCS, and its integrations library includes Salesforce, HubSpot, Shopify, WooCommerce, Zapier and Google Sheets, plus an API, webhooks and an MCP server (see the sources).
How to move from Wati to HellouOne without losing your number
You keep your WhatsApp number and your customers keep writing to the same contact. HellouOne connects the number to the official WhatsApp Business API and supports coexistence: the WhatsApp Business app and the team inbox work on the same number while the team settles in. Wati also publishes a page on its own coexistence, and documents that its WhatsApp calling is not available on accounts using coexistence (see the sources). Read how coexistence works and how to move your number to the API.
Plan the switch calmly: confirm your renewal date with Wati and make the connection at a low-traffic time. These are the steps on the HellouOne side:
- Create your HellouOne account. Try the inbox and the AI agent for 7 days, with no card, with 2 agents, 2 inboxes and 100 conversations (the WhatsApp channel connects when you pick a plan).
- Pick your plan and connect your WhatsApp number. LIA guides you step by step; choose coexistence if you want to keep using the WhatsApp Business app.
- Invite your team, group them into teams and set the assignment rules.
- Load your knowledge base and turn on the AI agent with its handover areas.
- If you use a CRM, connect HubSpot, Pipedrive, GoHighLevel or DataCRM.
When to choose HellouOne
HellouOne is a better fit in these cases:
- You prefer to pay by the month in US dollars, with no lock-in and a 0% markup on Meta's fees.
- You need voice on Colombian phone lines: answering calls and launching outbound campaigns with telephony included and Ley 2300 rules on collection.
- You want the same AI agent, the same knowledge base and the same inbox to handle WhatsApp, web chat and calls.
- You want an AI agent included from USD 49 a month, with a clear cost per additional AI message (USD 30 per 1,000).
- You need advanced routing, with priorities, teams, online-only assignment and five visibility levels.
- You operate in Colombia and want connectors such as Mercado Pago and Alegra.
- You want to keep using the WhatsApp Business app on the same number while the team moves to the inbox (coexistence).
If you are unsure, the 7-day free trial needs no card: try the inbox and the AI agent, and connect your WhatsApp number when you pick a plan. To see more of the product, read the WhatsApp team inbox guide.
When might Wati be a better fit?

- You want TikTok among your channels and a wide integrations library.
