Very few outbound campaigns finish in one pass. Some contacts do not pick up, some are busy at the moment you call, and some need a second or third attempt before a conversation happens. The work that turns those attempts into results is follow-up, round after round. Until now, every follow-up round meant someone had to remember to launch it. As of November 4, 2026, HellouOne can run campaign follow-up rounds, also called sweeps, automatically.
This is built for Contact Center and campaign teams that need systematic follow-up without launching each round by hand, including teams that run AI voice agents in outbound campaigns. Admins also get an email when a round starts and when it ends, so the work moves forward without anyone watching a screen.
What is new
Three changes ship together, and all of them are live in production:
Automatic rounds. Campaign follow-up rounds (sweeps) can now run on their own, so you no longer launch each round by hand.
Numbered round titles. Each round has its own numbered title, so round one, round two and round three are easy to tell apart.
Start and end emails. Admins receive an email when a round starts and another one when it ends.
Why automatic follow-up matters
When follow-up depends on a person, it happens when that person has time. A busy week, a public holiday or a change of supervisor can leave a campaign half finished for days, and the contacts you meant to try again wait with it. Follow-up that runs by itself does not depend on anyone's calendar. The campaign keeps the rhythm you planned for it.
Consistency also makes results easier to read. When every round is a separate, numbered step, you can compare what the first round achieved with the second and decide whether another one is worth running. A supervisor who no longer launches rounds can spend that time on what changes outcomes: the script, the contact list and the quality of the calls.
Start and end emails
Automatic does not have to mean invisible. The email when a round starts confirms that your campaign is doing what you set it up to do. The email when a round ends tells you it is over, which is the moment to review how it went. Between the two you can get on with your day instead of refreshing a campaign page.
These emails go to admins, so make sure the people who own your campaigns have admin access in your account.
A simple routine for follow-up rounds
Automation works best with a short routine around it. Here is one that fits most campaign teams:
Before the campaign: check the contact list, the script and the consents. Outbound campaigns require the consents the law demands.
When a round starts: the start email is your cue that calls are going out. Keep the call history open if you want to follow along.
When a round ends: the end email is your cue to review. Look at how many conversations the round produced and at the calls that did not connect.
Before the next round: decide whether the script, the list or the timing needs a change, so each round learns from the last one.
How this works with HellouOne
Follow-up rounds are part of HellouOne campaigns. Scheduling was already there for the first launch, as described in scheduled AI voice campaigns launch at the time you set. Follow-up rounds carry the same idea forward, so neither the first launch nor the follow-up needs someone at the keyboard.
The AI agent that runs your outbound calls is the same one you configure for your business, with a voice, a phone line and its own call reports, as described on the AI voice agents page. It calls a list of contacts inside the hours and limits you set, and when a person should take a call, it transfers the call to your team. Every call is recorded in the call history, with its date, contact, status and duration.
Supervisors who run a contact center can follow the same work from the Hellou Connect Contact Center, with real-time supervision and a single view of conversations. To review a campaign after a round, see voice campaign reports and campaign archive.
In short: launch the campaign, let the rounds run, read the start and end emails, and spend your time on the results.
