WhatsApp is where your customers already are, and connecting it to HellouOne takes minutes, not a development project. Every channel in HellouOne — WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, email, web chat — is connected as an inbox, and all your inboxes are listed under Settings → Inboxes. Once WhatsApp Cloud is connected, every message lands in the same shared workspace your team already uses, ready to be assigned, answered by a person or by an AI agent, and resolved.
Before you start
You need the Facebook account that manages your WhatsApp Business. With that account you can select an existing number or create a new one during the connection. If your team prefers to connect by hand, have ready the phone number, the Phone Number ID, the Business Account ID and the Meta access token.
Steps
1. Click Add Inbox and choose WhatsApp.
2. Click Continue with Facebook and sign in with the account that manages your WhatsApp Business.
3. Select (or create) the number: the inbox and the webhooks are configured automatically.
4. Or configure manually with an access token, and enter the phone number, the Phone Number ID, the Business Account ID and the Meta access token.
5. Add the agents who will handle this inbox and click Finish.
After connecting
Under Settings → Inboxes → your inbox you can change the name, the avatar, the automatic greeting and the CSAT survey, and, in the Collaborators tab, the agents and auto-assignment. The Configuration tab shows the webhook verification token and the API key. Those are credentials: do not share them. From that moment, new WhatsApp conversations arrive in HellouOne like any other channel, with the full history on the contact.
